Schedule & Cost Analysis

Forensic construction schedule analysis is a necessary component for dispute resolution and claims management. RCS will invoke AACE’s recommended practice 29R Forsenic Schedule Analysis and apply those accepted processes in the review of the various updated versions of the project schedule. Depending on the facts, the type of analysis would be performed using AACE 29R’s analysis methods such as; As Planned vs As-Built, Contemporaneous Period Analysis (windows), Collapsed As-Built, or Time Impact Analysis (TIA). The project staff will be relied upon for a review of the facts, correspondence, daily reports, and changes for the review.

Forensic construction cost analysis starts with the contract and evaluates the effects of the change orders, and the issues that caused cost impact. It includes segregating the details of the costs into logical components and reviewing; correspondence, estimates, schedules, job cost reports, and statements from the project staff. Once the data is gather, RCS will analyze it using the methods listed above and present reports and graphics that support your case.
